🌙 Central Masjid Project

Our goal is to establish and maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and spiritually uplifting Masjid that brings people together for prayer, reflection, and community growth. The Masjid will serve as a space where individuals and families can deepen their connection with Allah (SWT), strengthen their sense of belonging, and find comfort and peace in togetherness.

Beyond daily and weekly prayers, our Central Masjid will host Friday sermons (Jumu’ah), Eid gatherings, Qur’an classes, youth mentorship programs, women’s study circles, and interfaith dialogues — all aimed at fostering unity, understanding, and shared values within our diverse community.

We also envision the Masjid as a beacon of hope and service — a place where acts of kindness, charity, and social support flourish. It will provide guidance for families, counseling services, and outreach programs to help those in need, regardless of background.

Our Achievements So Far

• Successfully organized community prayers and gatherings across multiple locations, strengthening bonds among Gambian Muslims in Atlanta.
• Secured donations and pledges from dedicated community members toward the construction of a permanent Masjid.
• Launched weekly learning sessions and youth mentorship programs, focusing on Islamic values and community development.
• Established a growing network of volunteers and supporters who are actively helping us realize this dream.
